Unsymmetrical set-up (Starline RCA)
Because of the special cable construction using four inner conductors (each with a cross section of 0,24 mm2) there are two conductors available for each pole. The they have to be connected crosswise. The shield should only be connected at the signal feeding end, but not at the receiving end. Thereby the cable becomes especially interference-proof. Please note that through its tight construction the FAST Audio Starline RCA will show very low capacitance.

Starline will be listened to! Its high resistance to electrical and magnetical interference has been reached through the use of four inner conductors in a star-quad-layout. The high conductor cross-section helps loss-free signal transport even with long distances.
The Starline uses over 25% more conductor material than comparable cable constructions. Separating the overall conductor cross section into several conductor lines reduces the skin effect.
Untamed dynamics and superior bass reproduction are assured by additional polyethylene filling strands which also increase machanical stability.
The cable shows low capacitance and uses high-grade dielectric. Even with high imepdance sources there will be no audible damping effects in the high frequency range – Starline is made for all-purpose use.
Time coherent, low distortion reproduction and an absolutely homogenious sound character is achieved by high data linearity up to the highest frequencies.
The rugged and robust construction allows unproblematic laying or installing. Starline is suitable for professional onstage use. Set-up is made easy by the small outside diameter and the clear colour coding.
Thanks to its beneficial impedance characteristics Starline may as well be used for parallel symmetrical cinch connections (Starline RCA).
